I’ve logged into my microsoft account via my computer, and was able to follow these steps, but was not sure whether my actual e-mail would be deleted, or just it’s association with the microsoft account. This entails creating a new e-mail with a microsoft domain, setting it as the primary alias of my account, then deleting the former alias (original email used to create my account). I’ve tried to research different ways to change the email address of my Microsoft account, and I am under the impression that there’s only really one possible way. I have a question regarding changing the email associated with my Microsoft account.

It should have been easy to update, but it wasn't. I thought, all I need to do is add 2 characters to the email account (my new email is *** Email address is removed for privacy *** ). To the right of the four colored logo for Windows currently is my old email account *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. So in the settings for accounts, under the Email and Accounts heading in the Microsoft Account Settings. I'm not using any 365 program or the Microsoft subscriptions like Xbox Live,, OneDrive, or Skype. I tried using the link you suggested, but I couldn't make it work.
